Timbo i dont recall mentioning anything about a hammer.Perhaps when your working on your own personal equipment you use a hammer to change light bulbs and such, but i prefer taking a more subtle approach to things. If you have any further input on the topic direct it to someone who asked for your opinion because i didnt.
But back to the matter @ hand, I just hooked up my EV 180 a few days ago and it's a work horse already. Not to mention its being run on a 350 gallon system.
IMO bullet skimmer /becket type skimmers are the best. they are built better than Aquac I've seen many aquac. They maybe good skimmers but they still need large pumps when comparing same size skimmers. Euroreefs are good also here some good reading http://thereefweb.com/skimmer_comparison.htm IMO bullet skimmers are solid and would take some tapping to brake. But As with everything else it coulds have been a bad day and poorly made. And if it were me and I didn't get quick sevice I would be pissed also.

Well im sure all the retailers on this board will be happy to know that they can sell you stuff and not have to worry about you returning or raising a stink when it breaks or malfunctions. However when your in business and you dont hesitate at taking someones money, then you have to deal with all sorts of people like it or not it goes with doing business. The nice thing about being ME is i dont subscribe to other peoples theories and thoughts on any subject.I do things my way and i think for myself.
Dont be offended Mommas boy,but when someone sells me a defective product and fails to remedy the situation i tend to become upset, you on the other hand probably go off crying to your wife or mommy to make things better for you.

So if this is the case, why do you read and post on this forum? FWIW, are we not here to learn from each other?
