Slower flow thru rate or more CO2 volume.

But what people are striving now is for CO2 to completely use up, which will leave the effluent very close to 7.0. Monitor the media level for a couple of weeks and see if you see decreases. If your effluent stays at 6.9 and still sees decrease in media volume, it means your media is dissolving and all available CO2 is used up. That's also the reason people wants to add a second chamber to the CA reactor.......to use up the CO2 completely.
