Buying a new MH bulb. I'm going with a 10K. Now I'm running 4-55 watt PC's. Two are atinic and two are 50/50. Will this give the blue look i am looking for?? Or would i have to change my PC's?? Opinions.......

If you stick to a German 10K (best choice) you'll probably eventually want to have all PC blues. If you pick one of the blue 10K's (poor choice due to low par IMO) your current lighting will likely suffice.

Hehe...I've been cycling tanks with groupers, morays and triggers for about 10 years.
Cutting edge? Ha! :)

Depends on what the 10K bulb you choose. Some are more blue than others. As said above you will probably supplement with actinic PC.

The Coralife 10Ks are really blue. I had those and now have the Ushio 10K's with VHO actinic. Looks very nice.

I use 2x400 watt iwasaki 6500k mh's with 2x96 watt actinic pc's over my 90 gallon reef. the halides looked a little yellow for about 3 weeks, now that the bulbs are nicly broken in they are pure white. maximum par and it looks buitifull. not that unatural overly blue look, but a nice white with a blue overcast and a slight neon to the corals. the tank REALLY took off when a switched up from 4x96 PC's.
