Anybody use the new Iwaski 6500K Colorarc bulb? I'm looking for information and peoples' experiences with it.
I'm getting ready to replace my 11 month old 250w 10K German bulbs. I like the fact that the Iwasaki's put out more light, but I'm not particularly fond of the yellow tint. I have 320 watts of actinic though, so I'm wondering if these new Iwasaki's would be a worthwhile compromise.
How much whiter/bluer is the light on these new Iwasaki's?
Will they run on a 250w PFO MH Ballast (as opposed to the PFO that is designed specifically for the Iwasaki's) ?
Are these bulbs more expensive than the original Iwasaki's?
How do you know you're getting the new ones?
