SPC we must agree that we both love to debate, I have read other posts that you were involved in and have seen some good debates with and without your involvment that makes for interesting reading.
If we cant debate then it gets really boring and we might as well live in a time where all restaurants are Taco bells and cussing gets you fined. ( I still dont understand the three shells thing.....anyone know??)
I guess I would like to shake hands and say hello and thanks for the nice time and part on good terms

I don't believe you have answered the question of "how many more" yet. It seems you are dodging the question from the very beginning.

Tan I was giving the dictionary meaning of how his post made me feel or how It seemed to me he was reacting.

Dan Sure I did answer the question. I believe the answer was that you can add as many as the bioload and the person maintaining the tank could handle.
For every person it would be different. The tank at my doctor’s office gets a maint. call once a month. Its on an auto top off and gets fed once a day. They would have less fish per gallon than Hurrifan's tank due to the maintenance alone.
If you want a number that would be impossible because if I said 5 purple tangs, That may be ok for the bioload while the fishes are small but when they get larger and create more of a bioload then he may have a problem. I doubt it but he may. Each tank is unique and to give the exact fish count for a 180 gallon tank would be silly.

Well looks like we got a Pissing contest going on. I find this very amusing but it seems to me that people of your intelligence could find something better to argue over. I know this sounds as if i'm acting as if i think i'm better than yall. This is grossly wrong, i come to this board to learn more about his hobby from people like yall. So lets all kiss and make up and get back to our beloved tanks.

Ernie you are OK.
The difference is the size of the fish. He is looking at four large fish, has two already and looking at getting 6 more. IMO he is approaching the level.
And way to go Ernie. I would not have given Jawbone the time of day.
Thanks

Oh yes Kim Where is the flame here

I am glad that my post has stimulated such healthy banter, but it has not produced much insight into my problem. Of the fish listed, who has had success with them? Were they enjoyable to watch, easy to keep, etc. I was not looking to open pandora's bio-load box. I just wanted input as to said list of proposed fish for my next addition. However, it has been good reading.

I apologize, I am not well informed enough to discuss bioload, so I didn't.

But now that you reiterated your question and put me back on track - I love fairy wrasses. I have an orange bar fairy wrasse and had a Scott's (unfortunately he found some hole someplace and jumped - no idea where, I thought my tank was jump proof. I've since made it more jump proof

) They both have awesome personalities. I had the Scott's when I was still having a bit of an algae problem - he would find a clear spot in the glass and eye me - was so funny - him peeking out a little window at me. They are very docile, but not timid. At first, the orange bar would hide when I walked into the room, but he soon figured out who the meal ticket is.

The only other fish in my tank at the moment are 4 green chromis - they keep having babies.

Would you consider a long nose hawk? I loved mine (he jumped the day after the fairy wrasse) and will definitely get another. I love the way they stand on the rock, so tough and he would follow me back and forth as well. I like the looks of them much more than any of the other hawks. But if you have shrimp, I've heard that they smash them to bits for lunch.

Thanks, Tangirl. I am leaning toward the Fiary. I am not familiar with an Orange Bar. Will have to look him up.

Here's an excellent thread on wrasses - thanks to leonard - that man knows his wrasses.

The orange bar fairy is the first pic - about half way down. Mabu calls him a painted fairy wrasse. His scientific name is Cirrhilabrus luteovittatus according to Leonard.
