Right now on my 55 gallon, I have one 400 watt 5,500k bulb and a 40 watt Fluorescent Actinic bulb. I am looking to replace my current metal halide bulb because it is old and really yellow...I would like to upgrade to a 10,000k bulb. What make bulb would you reccomend, and what web sites could I buy it at?

For a 10,000k bulb your only choice should be Ushio/german 10k.

Les-I agree with downdeep. I've got 2-175W Ushio 10K's and 2-110W actinic's an my 75. It looks great. You can get the at Champion for $69.00.
