??? about lights and how much sand

Hey I have a question..... Is anyone using the sealife metal halide/power compact fixture or the red sea phazer compact lights from pet warehouse if so do you like them its for a 90 reef tank I'm on a very thin BUDGET. thanks also is my sandbed to thin it's about 2.5 inches If so then how much

Id add another inch of sand, smallest grain size you can find. And the lights sound cool, no expirience though, but they have to be better than NO, VHO or PC bulbs.

I agree with Mouse. More sand would be Nice. I use 2 10K MH's I bought a retro and built my hood. got out cheaper than that you can put a set of 250's or 400's in your hood cheaper if you do it yourself.
