I am interested in getting some Pipe Organ Coral. However, I have read (think it might have been Sprung and Dilbeek book) that bristle worms burrow into the red base and attack the polyps. Is this old info or still the current belief? I, like most, have added bristle worms to my tank DSB. I rarely see them and have had no problems so far. If Pipe Organ is still a problem with the worms, I would appreciate the info before I make a purchase. Thanks for the help. :)

I have had two organ pipe colonies for over 1 1/2 years and hane not had a problem with what you speak of. However......a friend of mine that I sent a frag to sometime back tod me that it had died off. He was going to remove the skeleton untill he noticed that there were a ton of bristleworms living there. Never put two and two together. Interesting.
