I see everyone's great pics and decided I need to get a camera. I fiqured you all could give me the best opinions. Mainly what is it you like and dislike about your camera. Would you buy the same camera again if you could do it over again. Is it easy to use....Any info would be appreciated

I did a lot of research before I got my Fuji.

It was around $350 at the time - a FinePix 1400 (much cheaper now, surely).

Doesn't take the best pics compared to some around here, but it's pretty nice and does the job well.

Coupled with Photoshop, it has been extraordinary. I would buy another one.

Depends what your idea of "reasonable" is. I recently got a Nikon Coolpix 5000. I LOVE IT! I will post some pics so you can get an idea of the quality of the images.

If you are looking for quality pictures what you want is a camera that has at least 3 megapixles if not 4. what the means is there is more pixels per inch. If you were to fiond a camera that is 4 megapixels then you could effectively have a picture that would fit a 11x16 frame and look VERY nice. if you had a 1 megapixel camera it would be like having a wallet size picture that looks good any bigger and it would look pixelated. So my point is that you could take a picture of a fish and even if the fish only takes up a small part of the picture you could crop it enough, and blow it up so that you can see the fish very clearly.

Much like yuour first aquarium if you buy a cheap camera you will get cheap results if you have to wait a few weeks/months to get a 500 dollar camera do it, it will be more worth your money and you will be much happier. I would look here http://www02.bhphotovideo.com/default.s ... FFB51A14F0 and then try http://www.bestbuy.com/PhotoImaging/Dig ... =82&cat=83 and finally http://www.circuitcity.com/frame1.jsp?B ... al+Cameras

I have a slr camera and I get my pictures developed onto a cd and a set of prints, sure it takes a couple days but the quality is amazing I have attached a pic that is cropped to more then half its original size.. Sorry no fish pics yet
