Anyone using a Reef Filler dosing pump for top-off?

For those using a Reef Filler dosing pump for auto top-off (or PulsaFeeder, etc.), how often do you have to fiddle around with it to keep abreast with the evaporation rate of your tank? Just trying to determine if it becomes a royal PITA over time because of the need for constant fine-tuning. :evil:

I've been running one for several years now, other than cleaning it once every several months, it's a set it & forget it, dependable pump.

Use it with a float switch, put it on a timer and run it at night, which is the way I do it.
