I have three maxima clams sitting in my tank and they keep getting knocked over by my crabs and snails. I have to turn them right side up almost every morning. What can I do?

Are the clams sitting on the sand or on your rockwork??? If they were on your rock, they are knocking themselves over trying to find a better location. If they are on the sand, I find it hard to believe that crabs are knocking them over as clams have the ability to "right" themselves.

My clams are sitting in the substrate in what I thought was the most light intense area in my tank. I have had the clams for a month or two and they are having trouble rooting themselves in the sand.

It may be that they are not in the best place for water flow though. I have a 58 gallon tank with a mag 7 for my return pump. That is the only flow device I have at this time.

Thanks guys. I moved my water flow and everything, and I mean everything is looking much better. So far my clams have not tipped over again and they look awesome! Thanks for helping out a rookie.
