I bought a Tornado 4 Stage 100 GPD RO/DI unit from them and have not received it yet. I also bought a 40 gallon storage tank with float switch. When I ordered them, I thought I had found the greatest place. It was so cheap. Everything was supposed to come out with shipping for around $300.

Now, I haven't received the items. Have been charged twice by them for unknown billings. Cannot get in contact with them. It seems there message machine is full or something and there website has gone down.

So my question for everyone is, are they still in business? I have put both of their charges on my credit card for dispute. I would definitly prefer to receive the items. Thanks for any help anyone can give me on them.

Broker - I'll let you in on inside secert... All of the pre-filters, RO and DI are interchangable from one vendor to the next. The vast majority of filters, RO and DI are made by three companies with DOW being the largest.

So now that I have been ripped off by Dave. Where should I get a good RO/DI unit. IF all the filters are made by the same 3 companies, then a Kent and a no name wouldn't be much different, except with the Kent costing 3 times more. Any suggestions?

dave to done this to me.. Oreder a unit.. then canceled it 2 days later.. then still got charged for the damn thing. and that was 2 months ago and still waiting on the thing to be credited back to my card.. Turned in a greviance on it so he wont get his money...
Prices there are great but the service really sux.

Lets face it we got screwed. The same thing happened to me, at least I got half my order. His web site is gone and his phone is disconnected. I've been pestering him for well over a month now to get my order filled. Hopefully if he goes back in business he'll have taken some business classes.

I was one of the first people to get ripped of by Dave Visovati(And ended up getting banned at RC for posting a criminal case # and phone # to get in touch with an detective on the case) his when he worked for AquaFX. I got double charged and in reality didnt recieve anything I ordered(got some used spare parts). Luckily Bryan Crenshaw who quit AquaFX and joined www.Aquaticreefsystems.com took care of me 6 months later by sending me out a new unit free of charge. I have since ordered a few more RODI units from him and have had nothing but PERFECT orders and top notch customer service since. So this would be my first recommendation for a good unit at a low cost. Regardless of who you go through, all membranes,carbon blocks and prefilters all are interchangeable with all companies, so whoever you decide to go with you will always have options for replacement filters.

Man I can't believe this Dave guy. I hope he gets arrested. It's people like him who turn people off e-commerce. I'm probably going to try aquaticreef systems after I get my money back. The only bad thing is that Dave was sure damn cheap. Oh well, that must have been the catch.
