My tank specs should be in my sig. I'm looking at Flame Angels, Coris wrasses, Sixline Wrasses, and another Wrasse that looks like a bluehead, but is smaller. I'd love a Flame Angel, but is my 38/sump/refugium big enough? AND will he pick at my open brain? Will small wrasses eat my cleaner shrimp?

38G is a bit small for a flame, and some species of coris wrass grows big (after 2-3 years). Unless you have plans to upgrade your tank in a year or 2, otherwise, stay away from them. I do not know how big six lines grows to be.

Ever consider a cleaner wrass that takes flakes?

I do plan to have a house in the next year, and will be building a 200 as soon as I find the house. Cleaner wrasses are awesome, but I have heard too many ecological worries about taking them out of their environment, so I won't go there. Those guys need to be doing there job in the wild, not in my home. Coris are the bright yellow guys, right?

There are several wrass that falls in coris wrass category. The one that I see often for sale as "coris" is white body with black speckles on tail when juvenile, red with white bars as semi adult, and greenish mixed color when sexually mature.

Do you have a pic of the one you are thinking of getting?

Is a Flame Angel that bad of an idea?

Sixline would be ok, they don't get very big (mine has been in the 75 for over a year, and is only 1 1/2 inches long I would guess, moves to quick to measure LOL). Flame angel in anything less than a 55, I personally would refrain from it, they don't have enough room to roam. Here would be my suggestion: 1sixline, Pair of Percs, neon goby or two. That would be plenty.
