I have a pair of true percs coming in today and was looking for opinions on the best host anemone for them. By "best" I mean most likely to be adopted by the fish. Second factor for anemone choice would be lack of roaming and damage to corals. I had a blue carpet for years without any issue and was considering another. His demise was at the hands of a powerhead  He grew from 4" to over 10". My tank is 75 gallon with 4-5"deep sand bed and about 125 pounds if mixed Figi, Tonga and Carib live rock. All parameters are fine, no nitrates etc. Any suggestions from experience would be appreciated........

as far as i know, the carpet is the natural host for a perc.

that would be the most likely.

Percs will accept many hosts...or sometimes none. Mine have lived in a colt for two years.

My H. crispa settled into its spot immediately and hasn't moved. Trouble is my TR perc pair has completely ignored it for two months. I guess there's still some hope, but at this point I'm not holding my breath. HTH

My True Percs took to my frogspawn almost immediately and they've laid eggs on the same spot three times already on one of the stalks.
