I have some of the small fish formula.

It has copper sulfate in it.

which breaks down into copper + sulfuric acid.

two things I don't want in my tank, so the food is sitting in a closet.

starr,

I understand the concerns bingo has, but I have been feeding New Life foods to the fish in my reef tanks for about a year. The fish look absolutely fantastic. I believe the copper sulfate must be in extremely minute amounts because I have not observed any damage to the corals or other inverts. Perhaps they should take it out so people will feel more confident, but I honestly have not noticed any ill effects.

Are they the same 'spectrum foods' that make cat, dog and other pet foods as well as fish food?
