Sulphur de-nitrators

Has anybody used one of these sulphur de-nitrators?

I've heard they are very good but I am a little unsure if to buy one after buying an Aqua-Medic system including the pump and computer (over £400 or $600 for our US friends) and finding it to be a complete load of crap and Aqua-medic not interested in helping me or refunding my money.

Please don't advise me about destocking/live rock/large water changes etc.

What do you want to know about them? They can lower nitrates, as can many other types of things. Macroalgae is a lot cheaper.

Don't believe that they do much for calcium supplementation.
