How does one properly clean aragamax sand before placement into the tank? I don't want the white residue to cloud up the tank like it did to my 65g setup.
That shouldn't be necessary. Try placing the sand in the tank first, then the water slowly on top of the sand. Let the water land on a saucer (plate) so it disrupts the sand as little as possible.
