Actually the rating you would want is food safe by the FDA. Not livestock safe. NSF ratings I haven't a clue about, but anything tested on livestock may be fine for humans, but when concerning corals or like inverts there are very different standards. However, if skimming and carbon usage are maintained, I don't think there will be any short term effects.
