250Watt Radium Ballast Question

I'm currently using a PFO 400watt HQI ballast with Radium on a 58 gallon tank. For a variety of reasons, I want to downgrade to a 250. I've seen a number of different opinions out there as to what ballast to use, but would like some ideas. Should I just get another HQI, or go with the pulse start igniter option on a standard PFO? I don't want an electronic one, as I have way to much hardware susceptible to the noise. How about the Advanced M80 ballasts I see the do it yourselfers mention? One concern is the look of the bulb. I like the coloration it gives off now with the HQI ballast. Any thoughts? Thanks.[/url]
