Aqua Clear Aquatics protein skimmer any good

This could be a stupid question. But there a lot of Aqua Clear Aquatics Model sump and protein skimmer ProSeries on ebay. Are they any good? Anybody have used their protein skimmer??

What size tank do you have/what are you keeping in it? I wouldnt recomend this skimmer as I had a one like this made by sealife..Pretty much the same design venturi. If you wanna dish out the cash, go euro-reef. But the aquaclear/sealife skimmers are a pain in the ass to keep fine tuning and doesnt do a good job of skimming. (Tea colored skimmate). It also leaks a lot of micro bubbles into the tank and you have to clean it very often...Not a good choice, think again...

No, they are junk.

Get a good skimmer like a Euroreef, Lifereef, etc.

Else you will junk the one our buying now, then buy a good one later.

I have an Aqua Clear Aquatics skimmer in my garage that I could sell you? PM me if your interested.
