tank looks good .i just got my Ampmaster 3000 did you get the pad that goes under the mounting bracket.
I dont even want to think that I am going to have to wait 3 weeks for it to clear.
today i added 20 lbs of live sand . Should I added few pieces of live rock into tank to help start cycle.
I have my 110 sold to this guy he has been waiting for 2 weeks. I have all my livestock in that tank. this guy is going to be alittle upset if he has to wait 4 more weeks .But that how this hobby is. Going fast alway cost you more in the end.

Waiting 3 weeks sounds like a long time. Mine is cloudy because of the reaction with the salt, not because it's stirred up. It was crystal clear till I added salt. I assume it will clear up once the water absorbs all the salt (I've added a box and a half of salt in the past 2 days!). Tonight I'm going to turn on the sump pump (AmpMaster 2100) and maybe even start up my skimmer and add some of my old LR to the system (depends on the salinity).

Yes I did purchase the pad that goes with the AmpMaster. Although I found that it was still kind of loud. The pad is too hard to stop all the noise. I used the pad and these little Styrofoam donuts that come in CDRW cases. Attached is a picture of the donuts. I taped 4 donuts onto the bottom of the rubber pad. Don't expect the pump to be completely silent, as I don't know if this is possible with a pump this big. I do get some vibration.

Did you add the salt to the tank or the sump?

If you added it to the sump it will mix quicker than if you added it to the tank. I added mine to the sump and and it was clear by the next morning.

I added it to the tank while it was filling up. I added the last salt to the system last night and got it at 1.024. This morning it was a little clearer, but not much. I figure it will be cloudy for a week or so. It's really not a big deal since I only have a few pieces of LR in the tank to start the cycle.

I just Moved up to a 125 gallon and I added the new sand first, then the water, then the salt to the sump, then the LR, @ then the live sand from my 55 gallon. It was all done over a week and it was only cloudy for one night, which was after adding my old sand.
