Here is my new 75-Gallon configuration. This tank is about one month old.

(Most of the livestock came from a one-yr old 20-Gallon, combined with an extra 100 +lbs. of Live Rock and about 100 lbs. Live Sand. I had been cultivating sand and rock in a separate 20 and 10 Gallon that I now use as a grow-out tank.)

I setup a 20-Gallon Sump feeding from an overflow box that sits below the main tank on the iron stand. I also still have the old 20-Gallon where my Mandarin lives until the pod population builds up in the 75. The Sump houses a Skimmer and heater and a Deep Sand Bed of Arag-Alive.

I probably have over 150 lbs. of Live Rock- mostly Fiji although I have some Tonga Branch as well. A few of the small pieces were from dead rock I picked up on my honeymoon at Cozumel that I have now seeded with Green Star Polyps and Mushrooms.

Livestock includes:

Green Open Brain, Green Star Polyps, a huge Colt, Ricordia, Xenia, Branching Bubble, Trumpet, Spiny Cup (Pectinia Paonia), an unusual Torch, and Varius Mushroom Anemones. I also have several Peppermint Shrimp (I had Aiptasia problems in the 20), Atrea Snails, Turbo Snails, Scarlet & Blue leg hermits, and several different kinds of Bristle Stars. The only fish right now are an orchid dottyback and a Red Sea Sailfin Tang. (I have two tank-raised maroon clowns on order and I plan to move the Mandarin from the 20 once my pods are more established.)

I am running a 48" VHO setup with 2 Actinic Whites and 2 Super Actinic (440 Watt total). I know I could get more PAR with an Aquasun in there, but I just love the way this combination glows. The glow of the corals is not really captured by the camera I used. It is an HP PhotoSmart 318, and these are my first attempts. I will experiment with it to see if I can get better color.

:D

Very nice aquarium, and beautiful aquascaping! :D

Looks very nice Reef Fever. I will be using that bulb combination on my 55, I like the color. That is one healthy looking Bubble.
