Sorry to hear it. :(

I had the same experience. Had not found this place yet and a LFS telling me " Sure, that would be great in your tank."

This is how we become experienced reefers. We all make some newbie mistakes along the way, though some act like they never did. 8O

Just look at it this way, you now have a little space in your tank where you can place something new. And surely you won't make a newbie mistake this time, right?

How's Mr. pinchie? :)

I had a friend send me a scallop from Alabama. It was the eatin' kind.

He found it attached to a drainage pipe. He sent it to me overnight and spent $12 on shipping. I put it in my quarantine tank and it fed for many days. i fed it DT's and pureeed brine shrimp mush. It died as well after three weeks. i think they just require constant feeding to live...

That's too bad coral.... :(

I still remember when I bought one, and tried to keep it alive feeding it with that microvert stuff...YIKES 8O 8O

Now, there was one ugly polluted algae tank....

I kill one too. I got an Electric Flame Scallop. He died after 8 monts or so too. IMO, it is rare to have a reefer who did not kill one of these beauty.
