Slipper Lobster

I just picked this up at lfs today for free. We thought at first is was a mantis shrimp.
It turned out to be a Slipper Lobster after a friend put an id on it for me.

I put it in my refugium and would like to know how to care for it.

It is about 2'" long.

Could it be reef safe or do I leave it in refugium?

It is not reef safe, but you should've picked up a larger specimen. They sure are tasty........(Sorry, I am just hungry....)

Definately not reef safe! They also get huge....I've seen on that is about a foot long.
