I have a tiny false perk clown (tank raised) that I 've had since Jan. Today he has decided that he would love to live in the flowerpot. I can't seem to scare him out. I've even netted him and he just goes back. I can't move the flowerpot as it is glued to the rock and does beautifully there, very full extensions everyday! except today :? I don't think it likes the clown fish?? Any suggestions??
thx

other than moving the fish to another tank I can't think of any other way to keep him out of the flowerpot. I know that most of the time the coral will stay closed up out of iritation until it gets used to the clown being there. I have only heard of a few cases where the coral died because of this. I persoally have no experience with this so hopefully someone that does will chime in soon.

i've had clownfish adopt a torch coral as well as a leather without any problems. the coral should adapt over time and i'd expect everything to be fine.

Chucker-

does this mean you now have a fish that's 'happy as a clam'? :P :D
