Would like to have one, but would he be happy in a 75 with a pygmy angel and 2 clowns? If not, any suggestions.
Peace!

I used to have the same set up. 2 clowns the angel and 2 damsels and 2 fire fish with a lawnmore blenny and they all got along great.
So IMO they should do just fine. :D

A 75 is on the smaller side for a tang (no really, they can grow pretty large), but a smaller yellow should be happy for quite a while in a tank that size (that isn't stuffed to the hilt with live rock).

Knock yourself out. Just realize that in 3-5 years, the yellow tang may outgrow your 75 gallon, at which time you'll need to have to relocate him.

If you aren't aware, tangs in captivity is a very controversial subject, a probably why you haven't gotten more responses.

Ken,

I had a yellow tang in a 55 for 5 years. It all depends, IMHO, on the size of the tang. Start out with a small one - quarter to half dollar size. You should be fine for a number of years. Don't forget to feed it nori or Seaweed Selects on a daily basis.
