I noticed the yesterday that my 3 blue damsels have made little "homes" underneath my LR. It seems that they have removed a great deal of gravel to create little caves under the rock. I see them sleep in there. Has any one ever come upon this before with there damsels? Just wondering if this is normal. I also noticed some thing that looks like worms sticking out of my LR, they seem to have streched to the gravel and sift through it a night. It is amizing how much life there is at night. Everytime I look there is something different. It just keeps getting better.

Yes i have noticed that they chase eachother away from their caves. What happends when I add a clown, yellow tang, and a fire Hawk? Are they all going to fight and eventually kill some of the other fish. I ahve a second tank with those above mentioned fish that i would like to intagrate into the one with the damsels.

Damsels are pretty much harmless. They will chase fish that invade their space, but thats about all. I have a Clown, a Royal Gramma, and two Damsels. The Damsels have never injured the other fish, so I don't think you need to worry about it. Enjoy your Damsels! 8)

My two Blue Damsels do it too! Over the past 6 months I have added an Orchid Dottyback, pair of False Percula Clowns, Pink-Spotted Shrimp Goby and Scooter Blenny to my 90 gal. Everyone has done just fine...no injuries! I plan to add a tang, who should be the last fish introduced to the tank! Good luck!
