If anyone can email me a copy of the owners manual on this ozinier I would greatly appreciate it. I am not sure how to hook it up to my system, or maybe the thing does not work properly. I bought it on ebay.

I am trying to connect it to my Reef Devil skimmer with Beckett head modification. Does this Ozonizer need an air pump connected to it?

Any help would be appreciated, but a copy of the owners manual is what I am really after since it would serve as a great reference.
email is [email protected]

Cheers,
Scott

Hi:
i don't have this model(I use a 300mg ozotech unit), but the operation of these things is pretty simple, you have an air in and air out. You connect ozone resistant tubing to air out and into the air intake of your beckett containment chamber. The suction from the operating beckethead pulls air thru the ozonier and NO air pump is needed.

You plug the ozonier in and turn the knob to some setting (go half to 3/4 on). Allow the ozonier to warm up say 5-10mins and you should smell ozone (smells like the air after a lighting storm. Don' breathe too deep or for too long ozone is NOT good for your lung tissue.) Pretty much it, the ozonizer brand new should generate approx 50mg of O3, figure you're getting around 25mg, you might want to ensure the water out of your skimmer goes over a bag of carbon (to remove residual O3), and if you smell lots of O3 , then turn the unit down.
