Ice cap 430-008

I recently came across an Ice cap 430-008 that needs replacement. I have searched around the net at various locations to only find a model 430. I believe it is the same thing as the 430-008 because the max wattage is the same (and bulb configurations). Does anyone know if they are the same? Also what is the life expectancyon an E ballast?

Not sure if the model is the same, but what is it that the ballast will light? From that we could determine if the 430 is what you want without knowing if it's the same as the old ballast.
