Tank looks great! The open brain looks happy in the refugium, too. Right in it's natural location.

I have actually had trouble w/ brains in my tank. I dont exactly understand why. Other lps seems to do ok, but brains in specific never seem to open up fully. I recently moved him from the main tank down to the refugium to test a lighting theory I have, but its only been down there a day or two.

Not sure if I see what you are talking about. From the front to the back in the middle there you have the yellow finger leather, the gorgonian, and then the yellow branching porites and then behind that is a little purple mushroom. Hope that helps.
