If you want to be a tad more stealth and hide the fans in your canopy, take a trip to Radio Shack and purchase a couple computer fans. Install one on each side, run the wires and whalla!
I have 6" tall Oceanic Canopy, and I'm using a clip on, I took the clip on base and the fan guard off, I'm using tie wraps to hold the fan in the back at an angle to blow across the water surface, the bigger the fan blades you can get under your canopy the better.
The best fans are Orions, 50cfm at a whisper quiet 26dB.
OA119AP-11-1 CFM 130 db 39
OA119AP-11-2 CFM 95 db 33
OA119AP-11-3 CFM 74 db 26
So the OA119AP-11-3 is the quietest fans per CFM of any I've heard of. It is priced at $24.50 though and the OA109AP-11-3 puts out 50 CFM at the same noise level, but only costs $13.50.
