Ok guys, I am new here, but have been doing SW for a while. Anyway I just started working in a pet store in Pensacola FL. I am in charge of getting the SW section of the store back up and running. It is in bad shape now, but I think I MIGHT be able to salvage it. I want to use the berlin method of filtration on a 180-200 gal island we have set up. here is the 1st major problem. Right now we have just a little bit of crushed coral in the tank. I want sand :) I know about SD but don't know of anywhere around here with it. if anyone knows where I can get some resonablly close to Pensacola, FL that would be awesome. What other alternatives are there to SD? It needss to be display quality, and I can't pay like $1 a lb, my boss is a tight @$$. I will need about 500lbs for a 4in bed and 750-800 for a 5 in bed. Any help will be nice, thanks.

I don't know how far away you are from Ft. Pierce, but according to this thread, the supplier to both SD and Carib-Sea is located there. Might be worth a trip if the geogrpahy is right. Just don't mention it is for aquarium use. FWIW SouthDown Sand
