I have a 50 gal with corals and 60lb of LR.Fish=1 purple tang, goby and a pair of black clowns(They look similar to percs but not completly). My question is could i put my true percula from another tank in there or would the pair kill him? He is a little smaller but not much.

I haven't seen these clowns get aggressive with each other, or anyhting for that matter.
I have seen tomatoes and cinimons get territorial.
So, I feel that yes, you should be able to out these together.

As a rule in general, whenever I introduce new fish to my tank, I put them in one of those plastic cups with holes in them and see how the other fish react to them. From what I've heard, it's ok to add a clownfish as long as they're a different breed than your mated pair. -Ben

I have 5 pairs of clownfish, all in separate tanks. In my experience a pair of clownfish will generally NOT tolerate another, especially since this is not a "large" tank. It is possible, but I would watch very closely the first few days. In the future if your pair begins spawning activity the female will become more aggressive.

No you should not put two pairs of clowns in a 50 g tank. They will most likely not tolerate each other.

It is unlikely they will tolerate each other in a 50 gallon tank. I tried adding a secong clownfish many years ago with my 50 gallon tank and the new ocellaris got beat up bad.

The clown i want to add is just a single True Percula. Not a pair does that make a difference? I dont want him toget tore up by the pair.

Scott-
Percular will not tolerate a third clown very well (not like Ocelaris or Pink Skunk). I have seen LFS sell Black Percular that are not Percular. Either way, if they are Perculas, they won't tolerate the third one very easy. If they are not Percula, they won't tolerate your Precula at all.
So, IMO, you should not add the third clown in a 50 g tank that already have a pair. I do have a trio Ocellaris clowns in my 450 g tank.
