Carlo, great job! I love seeing great looking reefs that don't run 1000+ watts of lights. It's good to see how well softies can thrive under NO lamps.

Thanks guys,

I've had this actual tank set up for 4 and half years with no problems. I had a 72 gallon prior to that for about 5. Never had a sand bed, just glass bottom (live rocks on egg crate).

I have a small hang on filter at the back with a few bio balls that have been there from day one of my first tank ( 9 years ago).

No fish in 3 years has died with the exception of a yellow wrasse jumping out of tank (lucky)

Protein skimmer is a 6' high 6" wide running two air stones. I will post skimmer pictures soon.

Lighting consists of 2 40 watt actinic & 2 40 watt panasonic daylight running off an icecap 660 (hardward store $6 each daylight). One other actinic on for 2 hours in morning and 1 hour after lights out.

I have 4 brittle stars ( 2 years) a red shrimp (2 years), 20 snails, hippo tang, yellow tang, royal gamma, percula, six line wrasse, chromis.

The finger in the right middle has dropped off about 12 fingers in the last 10 months. They will be passed on to the LFS.

Additives - Kalk dripped daily, Iodine, Strontium, buffer.

Water changes 15% every month or month and a half.

I will post more pictures soon.

thanks

Carlo
