Should you do freshwater dips....?

Should you do freshwater dips for fungus? Will it do anything? Or should you just treat it with some kind of antibiotic?

Sorry I cant answer your question...I assume it pertains to fish....I dont know if it help for fungus
However I do freshwater dips for all newly aquired coral stock to prevent flatworm re-introduction

usualy you would do a freshwater dip on parasites.
Fungi would need antibiotics.

I have copper in my q-tank. Is it ok to use a antibiotic with the copper in the tank, or do I need to do what I can to remove it, i.e. water changes, carbon, etc.

Not all antibiotics can be used with copper. I've seen a number of different one's in the LFS that had warnings against use with copper printed on the labels.

Freshwater dip wont do anything for fungus. Anti-bacteria is the only way.

I dont understand what an anti-biotic will do for fungus either.

Antibiotics kill bacteria. Fungus is not caused by bacteria but rather by fungi. Wouldnt an ant-fungal work much better?
