I started a 120 gallon five days ago with the addition of 115 pounds of cured fiji rock. Today I noticed a patchy white membranous film on some of the rock. The film is also developing some pore looking structures. Any ideas what this is?

hmm, it's been a long time since I've cured rocks. But I don't recall white films on the rocks being good. I'd be surprised if you could actually see new sponge growth in just 5 days.

Can it be blown off the rocks easily? Any parts of the rock turning black? (under it perhaps?)

The white /gray film on your rocks is were something has died. Blow it off and siphon it out of the tank when you can. If the rock was removed from the water at your fish store and carried dry to your tank there will be some additional die off. If you carried it submersed in water then the rock was most likely not fully cured when it was sold to you.
