For me, Home Depot didn't have it, but Sears did. ...could vary store to store too. I heard that spa/pool suppliers could have it, but the place i stopped at didn't, although they said their installer could sell me some from his truck when he was in. HTH

My HD here in KS had it, or maybe it was Lowe's?? Expensive stuff though. Maybe try a plumbing specialty supply.

Lowes here in Baltimore carries spa flex. I'm guessing this is the same thing you're looking for.

search for spa flex tubing you can get it in diameters from 1/2" up to 3"

obviously the bigger the diam the more expensive. Lowes usually stocks 1" and 1.5" diameter. Some "super Lowes" even carry 2"

I have ordered it from aquatic ecosystems, but then I found my local pool place carries it, but not in small diameters.

I got 2 inch from savko. Still have a lot left too. Home depot calls flex pvc what I call reinforced vinyl tubing. The price and shipping wasn't all that bad from savko if you can't find it locally.

Yes, but it's extremely difficult to work with in the larger diameters unless you heat it up to make it more pliable. I have not found it in larger than 2inch ID at home depot. I have also found that it collapses on itself when I use it on some pump intakes. Since it does get much more flexible when heated I boil an end and use it over a bulk head fitting since no standard pvc fittings I can find locally will fit over it.

I have found that "dry-fitting" is impossible on standard fittings, but with glue on it slides right in.

Yep, that's why I boil the ends. The actual flex pvc fits fine for me without any extra effort.

Yikes! Is it worth it then to use this over regular PVC? I was going to use Flex so that I don't loose flow rate on the 90º elbows.
