I recently built a durso pipe for a 54 gallon corner tank using 1" PVC. For some reason though, it does not seem to drain very much water. I am afraid that it can't handle 500-600 gallons per hour when I begin circualtion from the sump pump. I cannot think of what the problem could be. Has anyone else had this proble or know what I am doing wrong. I don't know that much about them other than I have one on another system that was built by the previous owner which seems to do fine. Does anyone have a link to instructions for how to build one. I thought it looked like a "no brainer" but I have flunked this test....

Thanks, Andy

1 inch PVC is to small to move much water. A standard pipe uses 1.25 inch plumbing and reduce to a 1 inch bulkhead and will easily handle 600-700gph.
