Hi,.
Spent most of the evening loading the tank with 300+ lbs of Live Rock. This picture shows only 800 watts of lighting ( 20K bulbs ). This venture began about 6 months ago ( from planning on paper to now ). My next step is add some sand to the tank and about 4" of sand to the 'fuge.
I may change the rock arangment a bit, thus, the madness begins!

One thing that I have not seen is the view from the slanted end. Give us a shot from the stairs looking in the tank from the slanted end, like you were looking at some clams.

Thanks!

Thanks all!
I already turned the lights out and the wife is asleep on the couch. I wouldn't want to fire the lights back up and wake her up!!
So I will get a picture looking down into the angle tomorrow night and post it.

Wow that is great. I do have one question though. What about the slanted edge? Lighting wise that is. How are you going to get enough light to it?

That thread title is too descriptive. But that tank! That is SO cool.

Thanks,
The tank is 300 gallons, the 'fuge is 50 gallons and the sump is a 60 gallon tank filled to about 40 gallons. Don't you like the pink doors? Seriously though, I am in the process of staining the actual doors. They should be ready in a few days.
The angle will be lit by whatever light makes it there.
Thanks,
JRF

my only concern is how the heck are you going to be able to move stuff or place delicate corals in that right corner, for some tasks you will need to use your hands and that´s gonna be quite problematic, don´t you think so?

This is what you see as you walk up the stairs.
