I have seen a white colored worm in my live rock which is about 1 mm in diameter. It is not free floating. One end seems to be attached to the rock however I cannot see the attachment point. It curves about in a small area then appears to retract back into the crevasse of the rock. On a side note my green star polyp has partially opened as of yeasterday. I have had it for three months. It has always looked perfect until yeasterday. I happened to notice these worms on the rock containing the star polyp. Could they be they be irritating the polyps or is this coincidental?
