I just bought a O2 test kit. For no reason other then just to test for one more thing. I tested my system this morning and the test results were 5ppm. Is that to low? and what should I do if anything?

100gal
3"DSB
100 lbs LR
up and running for a year +
All water parm with in limits
no stress in the tank at all.

Any answers to the questions would be helpful thanks in advance.

hi.
With appropriate skimmer and circulation, and right temperature (not to0 warm), it is rarely a problem even in high altitude.

Don't know everything about fish, but I know that 5ppm of Dissolved Oxygen is fine. I can't honestly say that I've ever heard of people having problems with low DO unless they have a power failure and there pumps shut down. Just curious, but unless it is an actual tritration where you add drops until the color changes, it is pretty much worthless and inaccurate.
