If your anemone is one that eats fish (Ritteri, Haddoni, etc) then you can feed it thawed silversides. A cheaper food source is to go to a bait shop and buy a box of frozen anchovies or sardines. I feed my Ritteri a frozen (thawed) sardine every couple of weeks. Of course, much of this food will be expelled as waste, so be advised.

OK, I'm back. A small tornado almost ook us out but I'm back and thanks to a home depot generator rental after 3 days with no power had no tank losses.

Here are the pictures of Ritteri&Bubbles anemone:

Vitz: yeah thats the male tending the eggs. For a very young male he is (The pair is less than 9 months old)very responsible and blows on them constantly. In fact I have never seen a male as dedicated as this one is to the egg patch.

If Rich doesnt mind recieving more pics from me Ill send pics of my Carpet(s) tank and E. Quad(s) tank too.

Yes I did say its Diameter is greater than 48", it is quite folded up, when it unfolds its tentacles end up touching 3 sides of the tank almost to the sand bed at the bottom.

You have, and the pics are above. Outside diameter has been measured at over 48", check out Female in relative size of the tentacles, or the maxi1200 ph next to it in the last picture.

I wish it was a 180g! :D But using a cloth tape measure it was measured at a full 50" in total outside diameter tonight. I am going to try and take a top birdseye view tommarow of it as the frontal view doesnt do it any justice for its actual size.

Do you mean circumference instead of diameter? :? An anemone 48" diameter in a 180, assuming the anemone is circular and not elliptical, would be pressed up against the side of the standard 180 (24" wide) and would take up more than 1/2 of the standard 180(72" wide). Still a very nice specimen none the less.
