Best price I've ever found in these parts is $49.99. It's usaully more like $54. I'd grab a few buckets at that price.

I am beginning to wonder about myself here. I have so many aquarium shops on my favorites list I got lost. Anyway you will find these prices (200g instant ocean 35.49, and 200g reef crystals 42.99)at www.thatpetplace.com, best prices I have been able to find. Sorry about any confusion, if you read the post before edit.

By the way I did not see the 200g bucket for 29.99 at the petsmart website. Looked more like 54.49 to me.

guys, you are not comparing apples to apples, rather you are comparing apples to oranges.

he said he found the IO deal at his LOCAL petsmart, the b&m store, not their online store. call your local petsmart to see if it is indeed on sale. perhaps it could just be a deal specific to his certain locale.

online places have great prices on salt, but once you figure in the shipping cost, the savings are negligible.

My Petsmart too. No one there knew anything about it being a sale or closeout. They only had two buckets. I took them both. Reefcrystals I think was $42.

I picked up a 200gallon bucket for $10.99 over the weekend. They only had one though. I checked at other locations and found the price was different from store to store if they even carried it. One place had it for $42.99 and another told me to try Petco! Call around and check who has it and what it costs.

Big blue, you are right on $29.99 for the 200gal. buckets. I went to three different stores in the area and bought 5 buckets. One store told me they were closing out this size and that it is why its on sale. Thanks for the tip needed alot to start up my 300 gal.
