Small filter feeding clams...anyone have?

Those the ones like you see on beaches that washup then re-bury themselves? Look sorta like candy corn..

I see candy corn all over the places because it is around Halloween, but the Tapes sp. that I used do not look like it. They are like littleneck clam, but more colorful. They rarely got washup onto beach.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think these likes cooler water, and will be "shocked" if kept in tropical reef temps.
