Halloooooooooo
Okay so I've got to re set up the reef tank now, stocking from scratch again more or less. The plan is still the same as far as the corals are concerned, mostly mushrooms and polyps, maybe a small anemone and a few other little corals (as of yet undecided).
The tank I have is a 30 gal hex, with a 175w 10000k metal halide and a 20 watt actinic standard fluorescent. There is approximately 50-60 lbs of live rock, 6" sand bed, skimmer.
So I have 2 ideas as to mobile livestock stocking.a mostly shrimp tank, with some blood shrimp, maybe a scarlet cleaner and
peppermint for variety, a saron (marble) shrimp, anemone shrimp or two, pistol shrimp and a harlequin shrimp (which I will be no problem to feed, as I can easily get stars/urchins for it, but will also try to get it on frozen urchin if at all possible.) Going to avoid the coral banded this time, since they were a bit too aggressive with the other shrimp last time. And then maybe just one or two small fish- like coral gobies, neon gobies, bangaii cardinal or blackcap basslet..
Or I could go with mostly fish and just a couple inverts and have abit of a selection of little fish, a goby, a bangaii, a couple coral gobies, a basslet, maybe one or two others.
Any ideas or opinions
