Problem with my Fish!

I have a flame hawk that has had a small whithish tear over his right eye, it is in the place where his eyebrow would regularly be.. I was hoping it would go away but now it almost looks more pronounced.. and almost deaper almost like its a parasite that is eating his flesh... Im kinda getting concerned now.. My levels in my 55gallon are good, and he is not being stressed as he is only one of three fish in my tank (coris wrasse and perculla clown). My tank has live rock in it and live sand as well as a rock full of mushroom pollyps so im kinda scared to use medications. what is wrong with him? and what should I do?

Sounds like HLLE (hole in the head disease). A pic would help though...

Things to check right off the bat: grounding probe(?) and nutrition...
