Still keep a cichlid tank for my son in his room. Gave up my discus for the reef, due to the amount of room my wife will allow me for aquariums :D .

I keep a 10 gallon planted tank for my crowntail betta. I'm just learning FW plants myself. I will post some pics tomorrow maybe.

So much easier than a marine reef. I use a single pitcher and about 10 minutes to do water changes.

I keep a 37 gal planted tank still and a 20 gal tank.. the planted tank is way more work than my reef but I love it.

I still have a 45 tall (picture window) tank. 3 long finned black tetras, 3 huge clown barbs, 2 green cory cats, 1 butterfly pleco, 1 zebra danio. Lots of plastic plants and several pieces of driftwood.

I still keep a 29g & 90g, both planted. Planted tanks are a lot more work than fresh. Thay are simular in maintenace to reef tanks. That's why I still like them.

I'm still keeping a 29 gallon cichlid tank and also a 10 gallon brackish. It is getting boring though after I got saltwater...

Viz,

You didn't really mean a 20 gal long did you?

I have a semi-planted 20 tall and a breeding (ALWAYS BREEDING) pair of convict ciclids. The reason I say semi-plant is that convicts are notorious for uprooting plants. I layed a piece of light diffuser crate under the gravel, and every time I get a new bulb, I just lash it to the grate.
They stopped uprooting everything

Both of my Convicts are always in breeding colors... 8O

I would have to say, they are, for me, the most beautiful freshwater (save for a few of the Lake Malawi's)... I really love em...

Anyone want some babies??? :P

No joke, it just seemed like a lot of fish to cram into a twenty gallon.
All the rainbows I have ever seen have been like 2 inches long or longer and it just seemed like a tiny tank to have 68 fish in...

forget the total gallons for water quality... how do they all swim 8O

Not criticizing you Vitz... just surprised.
I don't feel so bad now. Maybe I will get that Tang for my 75 ... :)
