Hi everybody,
One of my H. magnifica spit again today. That is the second split in about 14 months. The first split I though was due to injury. This split was not due to injury as far as I know. The two anemones have been in my tank for about 16 months. The water condition is great. I have not feed the two Ritteri the last month due to they are growing too fast. The one that split today was about 2 feet in diameter fully open.
I will try to get some picture up soon.
I thought this is interesting and exciting, thus I wanted to let you guys know.

Here is the picture of my H. magnifica dividing. He is having problem because my tank did not have adequate space for the two clones to move apart so they did not completly separated. I have to help it along with two rubber bands. The second picture is the picture after the anemone separated. They have not form a mouth yet. I will try to tank a picture of the three anemones each with a mouth once the anemone finished dividing.

Congrat's Minh! I remember reading about your first split last year. Let me know if you need to find a new home for one of those once the weather warms up!

Very cool Minh! Do they sit right under your MH's?
Jason,
They are right under my 400 W MH about 6 inches from the surface of the water. They really like high light.

ming!!!

Ive been researching this species, H. Magnifica for some time. I am experienced hobbyist of 10+ years and want to create a tank for just this anemone and clownfish.

Your anemones look so great! Can you tell me your exact setup?

I would definetly use 400w HQI lights, but I would like to know specifics on your setup. eg. kelvin of lights, tank size, skimmer, how old the tank was when u added them.

Thank you, and great job!
