Oceanic Sump Kits

Greetings,

Has anyone use/used the Oceanic brand sumps with their reef?

It's either the Oceanic, a custom Lifereef, or DIY. Appearance and quality is very important.

Well, I don't look at my sump from the side often, so I went with the DIY's. But if the look is really important to you, I guess the one's in the pic looks fine, but hope they can cut you some slacks if you tell them you don't need the trickle filter part.

I just built a sump/refugium combo, and created a webpage describing how I did it. Here's the link:

Click on DIY Sump in the Menu. It really was not that hard, cost me about $100, and looks great. If you decide to take the plunge, I would also suggest you read this post:
