I have a 75 gallon tank with a live rock ridge running the length of the tank with the hight point extending about half way up to the waters surface. The tank is lighted with 2 40 watt antinic corallife(runs 12 hrs/day) blubs and their is a MH pendent (runs 5 hrs/day) positioned 21 inches above the waters surface. The problem I am having is puting anything directly or immediatly adjacent to the area under the MH light. Does anyone out there use 400 watt 6500K MH lights? what do you keep directly under these lights? Also, I will be receiving a nice piece of frogs spawn coral this friday. Has anyone ever keep this speices if so where did you place it in your tank and how well did it do?

As for the 400w lights.. hard coral, clams, and other light hungry animals like that light.

As for frogspawn, I started out with a small branch "3 heads" about 3 yeras ago and now have two independent colonies with about 20-30 heads. They don't need to be directly under MH light. Mine are off the the side a bit lower in the tank, and they like soft gentle current. I do add calcium and other trace for them to build their bodies with :P
